All crew members of detained US ship arrested by TN police
The ship, which was detained in Tuticorin on October 12, was found carrying 31 assault rifles and 5,000 rounds of ammunition

Tuticorin: All the 30 crew members of US-based ship carrying weapons without permit were arrested by Tamil Nadu police on Friday.
The ship had been detained in Tuticorin on October 12. The Q branch was probing into the case. It monitors activities of banned organisations and people associated with such groups.
The ship is owned by an American company which specialises in maritime security against pirates. Thirty one assault rifles and around 5,000 rounds of ammunition were recovered from the ship.
